Once the hemp plant has been harvested and dried, it is processed into oil for consumption. The ways in which it is processed will impact the effects.

There are 3 types of CBD hemp oil for sale based on the specific cannabinoid being targeted

1. Full Spectrum CBD Oil

Full Spectrum oil includes ALL of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and essential oils exactly as they originally existed in the hemp plant. This allows for the “Entourage Effect” meaning that cannabinoids work together to enhance the benefit of each individual cannabinoid. Many users prefer full spectrum oils because they include a broader range of naturally occurring compounds from the hemp plant, creating what’s often referred to as a more robust experience.

2. Broad Spectrum CBD Oil

Broad Spectrum starts as full spectrum but becomes broad when only the tetrahydrocannabinol cannabinoid ("THC") has been completely removed from the oil. The rest of the cannabinoids are still intact in this oil. Our full spectrum oil contains only low levels of THC (far below the legal limit of 0.3%), many people are more comfortable with consuming a hemp product that contains no THC at all.

3. CBD Isolate

CBD Isolate results when the phytocannabinoid called cannabidiol ("CBD") has been extracted and isolated apart from all other chemicals naturally contained in the hemp plant. In other words, all other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids & essential oils are removed. CBD in this form may not be as effective as Full Spectrum or Broad Spectrum oil due to a lack of the “Entourage Effect.”

Two Classifications of CBD Hemp Oil Based On Extraction Methods

Within the various CBD oils for sale above, there are also different variations of the oil with regard extraction method.

1. Crude Oil (pure extract)

Crude Oil CBD comes from the first stage of extraction which is typically a full spectrum oil that includes unnecessary lipids, waxes and chlorophyll that affect taste and quality of oil. This oil has all of the good stuff in it but often undergoes further processing to remove impurities that may not taste great. For those who prefer a more robust experience and don't mind the "hempy" flavor, pure extract is a great option.

2. CBD Distillate

Crude oil is taken through a winterization and distillation to remove the fatty acids and other impurities to create a clean concentrated full spectrum oil. In our opinion this is the most universally appealing form of CBD oil that exists. You are left with a pure concentrated oil that includes naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes & oils in the exact ratios that existed in the hemp plant. The naturally occurring compounds in hemp may work synergistically, which some users find enhances their overall experience.

In summary, we strive to create the best CBD & CBDV distillates for human consumption through organic CO2 Extraction. These techniques allow us to provide you with the most pure CBD oil that exists in the industry while still tasting good.
